Just about the time you think that you've seen and heard of all the dirty, sneaky, conniving little tricks that come out of Washington, someone "blindsides" you with yet another. This time they have reached a new low.
On September 26, Senator Spencer Abraham(R-MI), a real veteran, with two and a half years experience in the legislature,
introduced Senate Bill 1226, which he entitled The "Department of Commerce
Dismantling Act." Now, in and of itself, that sounds like a pretty good idea,
and we can't think of many inventors who would voice strong opposition to it. But before
you move your bags off the pier onto that boat, you'd better check the bilges, because
this boat has a really big hole in it that's letting in a lot of dirty harbor water. Way
